“My husband Artie and I have lived at Plaza Grande for almost a year now. Our plan was to move close to family and we desired a place to create ease with balance, to simplify our lives for the healthiest, active lifestyle possible. I am 50 and Artie is 59. We still work and we believe our free time is our most valuable asset. This luxurious little piece of heaven allows that due to all of the beauty and conveniences. The clubhouse has way more than any other community in the area; 2 pools, a hot tub, a gym, a yoga studio, tennis courts, a movie theatre and a game room with a bar, pool table and poker tables. Unbelievably, there are more things to come. Plaza Grande plans to add a garden, bocce ball area, a library, a golf simulator and a banquet hall. Besides the staff being great, the owners are incredibly amazing and really care about each and every occupant. They are available to communicate directly with any need or concern. If that’s not enough, there are parks within walking distance, Philadelphia twenty minutes away and we can sit on a beach within an hour. There is a Trader Joe’s right across the street and everything else we need seems to always be two minutes away. Beyond all of this, it was simple to find great, trustworthy doctors and the best of friends. Our neighbors are kind, down to earth and fun. We’ve had barbecues and gatherings often, besides a whole calendar of events available. Artie always states, if he knew this existed 5 to 10 years ago, our lives would have been blissful for all of these years. I couldn’t agree more! “When my husband died, I decided to sell my house. But you could also say that I am at a stage in life where I don’t want to manage a home anymore. After 33 years in my home, I felt that it was time to downsize and move to a place where I had less responsibility for general maintenance and care which a home requires. Having raised my family in Cherry Hill, I also wanted to stay in this community. And the many stores nearby are a great convenience.
I have lived at Plaza Grande for 4 years. I share a 2-bedroom apartment with my daughter. There are several things I like about living at Plaza Grande. The location is convenient to stores, medical care, restaurants and entertainment. There are a variety of activities in the Clubhouse, and you can be as involved as you like; the movie theater, exercise room and classes, and the indoor and outdoor pools provide opportunities to relax and meet people and to get out of the house without going far. There are also plenty of places to walk. I enjoy living in a safe, friendly and well-maintained community. I can be as active as I choose.”

Plaza Grande is really the perfect place for active adults.
I moved into an apartment at Plaza Grande in September of 2018. I still live there, and I plan to be there for the long-term. I really love it here for several reasons. The staff at the front office is extremely helpful and friendly. Additionally, whenever there is a maintenance issue within my apartment, which actually does not happen that much, the maintenance staff responds very quickly and gets the job done. The management of the property keeps the grounds around the property always looking good. It is always clean and well landscaped.
The residents get along and there is never any drama, and it is very peaceful and quiet here, especially at night. Of course, there is tons of shopping around. There are many great stores and restaurants within walking distance, or maybe a very short drive. Plaza Grande is close to major roads, so it is easy to get around. It is centrally located, making it very easy to get to Philadelphia, Deptford, and anywhere else you want to go. Plaza Grande is really the perfect place for active adults. It has everything anybody would want for care-free living, and I highly recommend it for anybody in their 50’s, 60’s and beyond.

We love it here. We love all of the people. The place is great. Shopping is great. Everything is great. Especially with the new caretakers. We love it here. The people are great and the community- my wife calls it shopping heaven. And the maintenance—every time we need something fixed, they’re there within five to ten minutes.
I love the pool. And there’s a lot of good walking- you can walk to the stores; you don’t need a car. You name it, they have it. There are pools, movies, there’s a lot to do. There’s mahjong, there’s bingo, and all sorts of games.
I love living here. It’s beautiful. Everybody’s so friendly and nice, it’s a wonderful place to live. Plaza Grande is really the perfect place for active adults.
